Re: free trial version

Our Music-to-XML gadget is sold exclusively through Apple and Microsoft App stores. There is no demo or trial period for it. You may, however, test its recognition accuracy without risk or cost by downloading and installing our SmartScore X2 Pro demo from here:
http://www.musitek.com/demos.html
The results you see in the X2 Pro demo will be exactly the same when recognized by the M2XML gadget because Music-to-XML and SmartScore X2 Pro share the same recognition engine.

NOTE: The SmartScore X2 Pro demo does not save or print so you will not be able to test .XML output. If you require further testing, you may send us a PDF or TIF file you’re working with. As a courtesy, we will return to you the MusicXML output.

Re: free trial version

are you saying that the Smartscore Pro has the same OCR engine and results as the Music To XML? It is getting very mixed reviews on the Apple App store.

I tried smartscore... does XML have the ability to edit notes, values, and make corrections like smart score from a scan?

No, it doesn't. If you plan on scanning, go for one of the other products. (Just my opinion, of course.)
