"X" key specificity to type of object?
Why does pressing the "X" key only enable you to delete the type of object whose tool is currently selected?
Often, before I can delete something, I have to ESC backup or backout of a tool, then press X.
This seems completely unnecessary. Its not like entering something, where specificity is important.
Specificity of deletion seems unnecessary. I know it causes me to spend a lot of extra time at this.

Re: "X" key specificity to type of object?
Suggestion noted.
However, specificity of deletion is very necessary. There are many many commands that are compunded with other characters. Often, you only need to delete one of those. Take any articulation for instance. Say you want to delete a staccato, but not the note itself...
You may notice that SmartScore's efficiency is maximized with the quick-select command. If you use it just as often when deleting as when entering, you'll find this method to be invaluable.
Otherwise, "esc" than "x" is the way to "delete any" mode.

Re: "X" key specificity to type of object?
This has been fixed! As of the 5.3.0 update. "X" now toggles between the two delete modes again.
