Choosing which two staves to process
I'm evaluating the piano edition of smart score. Given that this version supports only two staves, when I am scanning a three stave score, eg treble and bass for piano plus vocalist stave, how do I tell smartscore that i want to process the treble and bass clef for piano and not the vocalist stave?
Can you confirm that I don't need to somehow mask out the vocalist part prior to scanning?

Re: Choosing which two staves to process
I would delete the vocal staff in the Image Editor after scanning, but before recognition. You will want to go through the editor anyway, to deskew, fix broken lines, etc. Deleting the third staff will only take an additional couple of minutes.

Re: Choosing which two staves to process
I think, apart from masking, Mike's way is the only way. AFAIK there is no option in the program to select staves for processing. With a broad "brush" it is quick to do as he says.
