How To Scan To Sibelius

Music-to-XML is simply a black box:
PDF (or TIF) in / MusicXML out
There is no manual because there is no other interface other than a dialog that imports a file and one to send the XML file to your desktop or to Finale, Sibelius or Dorico.

I don't have the program, so I can't be too much help. I couldn't even find a manual online. the closest I could find to any description is this:

In the other programs, there is a Recognize Scan command. This is what tells the program to do the work. Is there something similar in Music to XML?

mikey12045, thanks for the reply. The link you provided I'm familiar with. There is some good stuff on it.
In SmartScore there is a Recognize Scan feature, but it's not saying anything about Music to SML. I'll keep searching.
I noticed it took a couple of days for you to reply. Is this website not used that often?

Not that often. I check it once or twice a day, more or less.
Did a manual come with the Music-to-XML app?

There are a few of us old-timers who keep checking in on things every now and again. I'm still on the older version of SSX Pro (yeah I AM THAT old!).
Many aspects of the programs are similar, and the learning curves can be a bit steep for folks who might be in the least bit familar with applications like this and notation software. We just try to help folks get over the roadblocks. Sometimes we can, sometimes not so much.
Sort of "Community Service" as it were.

Well the problem I'm having is this: I open SmartScore, and put my score, which has 18 staffs, this is a big band arrangement, in my scanner and click on Scan in SmartScore.
The score gets scanned and I see it. So, when I choose Save As it doesn't give me a choice to choose Save As XML and then into Sibelius. I thought it was as simple as that. That's all I want to do, is scan my score and save it into Sibelius.
But, it's not happening.

I don't have Music-to-XML. I have SmartScore Pro, as well as the Piano edition. I teach how to use them (as well as Finale) at the Barbershop Harmony Society/Sweet Adelines International yearly Harmony College.
But getting back to your problem, what choices do you have in the Save As...? This is what I get in SSPro:

I save as XML. Then I open Finale (you, of course, would open Sibelius.) In Finale, I import the XML file. It's a two-step process, not one.
