Reports of artifacts appearing in the imported score as well as improper voicings have been reported. Noteflight ( https://www.noteflight.com/ ) has the most robust MusicXML import engine of all online notation programs we know of. Finale, Dorico, Sibelius and other mainstream desktop programs all support XML files well. As of today, Band in the Box needs improvement. Reporting problems directly to the publisher is the best way to get changes implemented. Be sure to attach problem XML files when e-mailing your issues.
