Existing install of Dorico not recognized
quote: I own Finale, Sibelius, and Dorico. When reading a file with SSMtXML, I can export to XML, or open the file in Finale or Sibelius. However, the Dorico option is greyed out as if it was not installed on my computer.
We consulted with the folks at Dorico, Sibelius and MakeMusic prior to creating the “Open in...” links in M2XML in order to establish the correct pathways to their applications. It’s possible install locations have been changed in the meantime. If so, simply save the XML to a known destination on your computer and import the file into Dorico.

Re: Existing install of Dorico not recognized
Export as XML. I assume Dorico can then import the XML file.

Existing install of Finale 26 not recognized
All the options of exporting are greyed out except the option export to XML. I would like to Finale 26 immediately after the scan....any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Existing install of Dorico not recognized
Same answer. Export as XML, and then import into Finale.
