Dropped notes
Hi, I'm using SSX2 on my laptop. When I play the music I've scanned/edited some notes don't play. It isn't a really complicated piece nor does it have many notes like an orchestral score. I'm wondering if my laptop is limited on the number of notes it can play.
Anyone have insight on this problem?
Is it a problem with SSX2?
Or might it be a hardware problem?
Also, is there a recommended card for a PC desktop that can play everything on the score. I know back in the day I used to see cards that advertised how many notes they could play at once.
What type of device/card do I search for?

I don't know for certain but if your laptop isn't real old, I would think the sound system is not likely the problem. On-board sound "cards" have come a long, long way from the original implementation.
Are you using the MIDI for playback or playing using the Aria VST/AU system which may have note range limits.
--- SmartScore ProX2 - since it came out, SmartScore ProX before it
Windows 10 - since officially released, Win 8.1, Win 7 before it

Re: Dropped notes
Thanks for the link but the measures that are dropping notes don't have any time signature issues.
