posticon Exporting to a Finle file

It seems that I can't figure out why I can't "Save and open Finale MusicXML in Finale". It always is shaded.

Don’t worry about it. Save your SmartScore work as XML, open Finale, and use File > Import > XML to bring it onto Finale.

I have the same problem.

"Save and Open MusicXML in Finale" is grayed in the File Menu. And the Control Bar button for the same function is also grayed.

Is there another way to save SmartScore work as XML?

Yes. From the File menu, choose Save As...
In the next dialog box, you can select the file type XML. (In the lower left corner, IIRC.)

Re: Exporting to a Finle file

In SS Pro X2, the Save-as-xml-and-send-to-Finale button worked fine. In SS64 it doesn't work. Of course it is unnecessary, but why is it there if it doesn't work? If this is just a bug (like the missing drag & drop capability), is it going to get fixed?

Where is that button? I don't see it in my SS64.

It never worked for me in the old version, anyway, so I have no problem with the new method.
