In SSXPro, you can assign any instrument to the voices in each staff using the System Manager (edit->System Manager, or shortcut Ctrl-M). To apply the changes to all systems in the score, you'd have to set the "Controlling System" option to "Super" system option. I'm not sure if your version/edition has such a feature, but it wouldn't surprise me. If you can't find anything in the menus or help files and are totally in the dark over my observation above, post back and I'll try to attach a screen shot or something of the dialog box, and maybe you'll be able to find something similar. You might also try opening a support request directly with Musitek (email to tech@musitek.com). Being a holiday weekend, you might not get a quick reply, but they will get back to you.nondisclosed_email@example.com (tlwebb)Sat, 30 Dec 2017 09:46:20 +0000 Re: separating a single instrument into 3 separate oneshttps://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215122,from=rss#post215122https://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215122,from=rss#post215122All of the SmartScore products are designed primarily as scanning and recognition programs. So naturally, they will lack many of the capabilities of real notation programs designed for composition. I don’t know that you can get what you want from the program. Sorry. You should be able to export the XML to Finale, Sibelius, etc., and separate the voices onto separate staves. Then, you could save different mixes for learning purposes.nondisclosed_email@example.com (mikey12045)Sat, 30 Dec 2017 09:32:50 +0000 separating a single instrument into 3 separate oneshttps://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215121,from=rss#post215121https://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215121,from=rss#post215121Hi, I wrote out three voices (in 3 colors) in one stave in smartscore songwriter. I was hoping to save them as .mp3 but aiff is the only option?????? I then saved the file as xml and opened it in finale (no direct transfer possible in songwriter in order to save the voices at different volumes as mp3's (the idea being that the sopranos, mezzos and altos could learn their line, while still hearing the other voices in the background as guideline. I then realized that, even though the 3 voices are color coded, they all read as one single instrument. Any suggestions of how to split them into 3 different instruments? Any idea why smartscore does not support offer mp3? Thanks nondisclosed_email@example.com (mutt strut)Sat, 30 Dec 2017 07:51:26 +0000
