System bumped to next page - How do I move it back?

Had 13 systems on 3 pages with 6 - 5 - 2 systems on each page.

After adding guitar chords, I had to increase the space between the Systems. Worked fine and it bumped system number 6 to the second page and number 11 to the third page.

System number 13 was bumped to the fourth page when SS created a fourth page and bumped it there. Now I have pages with 5-5-2-1 systems on them.

How do I move it back???

I though I could add a system, then copy 13 onto it. When I tried to insert a system below number 12, it created a page and put the new one on its own page. Page 3 is limited to two systems only.

Searched the manual for moving a system and online as well. Could find nothing.

Any insight would be appreciated.

SmartScore has a vertical ruler on the left of the enf file display which is tied to the active staff.

There are "horizontal Ts", red and blue arrows. These will move things vertically on the page so you can fine tune or do coarser adjustments. Rather than trying to explain what they do, just try them. Always save a copy of your file before experimenting in case things go wrong.

For your problem look at where these are and see if adjusting the horizontal T on the bottom staff of the good page upward will let the staff from the next page roll back onto the current page. You may or may not have to adjust more than one staff.

Are your margins for each page OK?

Thanks for the tips.

The margins are fine.

The bottom red T for the system on the page by itself had reset to 8.5. As soon as I moved it up next to the system it moved up the page.

All is well
