The Image Editor is a great thing, and using it makes a big difference in the scan recognition. I use it to deskew, erase things that could be a problem, and make sure that all of the lines, show. A few minutes there can save a lot of time, later.nondisclosed_email@example.com (mikey12045)Tue, 24 Oct 2017 14:42:19 +0000 Re: Missing staff lineshttps://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215025,from=rss#post215025https://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215025,from=rss#post215025Thanks Zoots your suggestion to improve the staff lines in the image editor worked! Is this the case? If it is, you can try to draw the weak or missing staff lines using the SS image editor. The quality of recognition is quite dependent on the quality of the original. You can leave the problem until you have completed your editing/corrections so the tif and the enf remain in sync. Then correct the problem. When you stretched out the staff and the bars to the left were stretched, you can move the barlines back to the original sizes by grabbing their handles revealed with the SHIFT key such that you would have a large empty bar at the end. This bar can be subdivided if necessary. Delete the offending notes and re-enter them into the "new" bars. You can try a copy. nondisclosed_email@example.com (ZootS)Mon, 23 Oct 2017 15:38:15 +0000 Missing staff lineshttps://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215023,from=rss#post215023https://bsmartscoreusertechresources.runboard.com/p215023,from=rss#post215023After recognition I found one line of staff where the last two bars on the line contained notes without staff lines. The staff length was shortened but the notes continued to the end of the line. I moved the tabulator to the right to establish correct staff lenght matching the lines above and below, however, the this resulted in steaching of the bars to the left and the notes to the right were moved off the sheet still without staff lines. I went into staff properties and chose the number of measures for that line to match the original, however, this sent everything haywire so I had to reverse that command. I inserted two barlines to create two empty bars at he end of the problematic line and this triggered a CR/LF so the notes which were outside the sheet were moved onto the next line - so now my image file and .enf are out of sync. I it would be best if I can send someone the file in order to see the problem visually. Can this be fixed? John McWilliamnondisclosed_email@example.com (jsmcwilliam)Mon, 23 Oct 2017 06:53:10 +0000
