Mere words can't begin to describe my joy this afternoon.You have all given such wonderful assistance.
Removing text before scanning parts into score format was a great hint. Thanks for that tl.
ZootS, your recent step-by-step was the key to ending my fumbling and head scratching. Forever in your debt.
Mikey, the upgrade has been ordered. I did send a note restating the upgrade to my Mac OS. The notice stated a shipment of 2.0.3 to be compatible with mac OS 9. Since I am operating OS X, 10.5.5, I trust they will send a newer version. I'll also take a peak at Finale.
Now that everything is in score form, being able to see as well as hear how everything works, I can mix and match the harmonies and counter-points from 6 different instruments into something that our low brass quartet can play and sound decent.
