Joining Notes so Stems Overlap
So, imagine you're inserting 3 notes to be played together as a chord, say CEG as 1/4 notes with all stems upward. When I insert select with O and they press Y, they are joined, but the stems don't overlap. The Shift key and nudge doesn't seem to help.
I can copy/paste from elsewhere if it exists, but I'd like to know how I author this from scratch.
Thanks,
Steve Amerige

Re: Joining Notes so Stems Overlap
It sounds like you may have three seperate voices if the stems are random. Use Z to cluster notes into the same voice. You'll probably have to delete two of the three, then press Z (cluster tool) and reenter the two notes in that way.
