posticon Shift-key selection of multiple notes problem

SmartScore 5 for Midi- Although I'm able to select multiple notes in several measures, for the purpose of moving all notes an from Base to Treble Clef playback; only one note at a time movement occurs, rather than all notes en masse.

Additionally: I am new to SmartScore, and for the life of me, I haven't the foggiest idea of the significance of SYSTEM, and how to use it. User Manual does not define SYSTEM, nor does it explain to my understanding, how to use it???

Please advise

VM

Re: Shift-key selection of multiple notes problem

HI VM,
The movement issue that you're describing does not occur in our latest release, 5.3.1. You may need to download an update. Also, please be certain that you are only selecting notes in measures on the same (active) staff.

"System" is not a command in SmartScore, rather a musical notation term. A system of music refers a "line" of music, including all staff parts. For instance, a typical piece of Piano music contains 2 parts per system.
